Volunteer

Week by week in the Pew Leaflet and in our bi-monthly magazine Foothills there are often requests for help or opportunities to get involved with many aspects of church life.

The following groups are currently seeking new participants:

“Foothills”, our church magazine is edited by a team of volunteers who share duties for compilation and publishing.  If you are interested in joining this team, please speak to Andrew or one of the editors.

There is currently a team of 3 people who prepare the weekly pew leaflet.  If you would like to help please speak to Lynn Frearson, Nancy Colman or Liz Passe for more information.

The beautiful flower arrangements in the church are created by a  group led by Margaret Taylor and they would welcome more people to this group.

Our lovely church garden is maintained by a dedicated team of people who share out various areas to take care of.  If you can lend a hand, please speak to Andrew or Grant Lindsay.

Hospitality is a big part of who we are here at St James’s and the Social Committee is recruiting new members.  For more information please speak to Anne Stephens or any member of the committee.

The Fabric Team co-ordinated by Tony Herdman takes responsibility for looking after the maintenance of both Church and Rectory. There are always jobs, large and small, that need attention and they would be delighted to have offers of help.
