World Labyrinth Day on Saturday 3rd May

Our open air Prayer Labyrinth is open to all every day – but visitors are especially welcome on this special day, when many will walk a labyrinth at 1pm local time to help create a rolling wave of meditation for world peace, passing from one time to the next around the globe.

Our beautiful brick and turf labyrinth was specially commissioned for St James’s church. It was designed by Thorn Steafel and is a variation of the Medieval style. The unique double labyrinth design was to enclose the trees in the church in a pattern marking the Trinity. It can however be enjoyed as a single circular meander labyrinth.

St James is located at the junction of Harviestoun Road (A91) and Mylne Avenue; the postcode is FK14 7HF. The labyrinth is in the grounds of the church to the left of the main door.
