We always aim to be a welcoming church and to make coming through our doors on a Sunday a good experience, Sadly, it is a fact that many people do not feel comfortable with attending church services – yet are often drawn to a church at a time of crisis or need.

St James is open daily, as a place of peace, quiet and refuge. Our doors are open from 9.30am to 5pm (4pm in mid-winter), for private prayers, visits or just a quiet place to sit. Everyone is welcome.
