Member of St James are warmly invited to 4 study groups at Dollar Parish Church exploring the ‘Promise of Advent’
An Invitation to Advent Reflections 2025:
Our theme this year is The Promise of Advent – Hope, Love, Joy, Peace
As with previous Reflections we are going ‘bookless’, letting passages from the Gospels speak for themselves – with a focus on Luke’s Christmas narrative. Philip, Alison (Muckhart) and Caroline (St James) will lead evenings. Meeting are on Thursday evenings, 7-8pm in the church with teas / coffees before the start.
The readings are:
20th November Hope – Luke 1 v 26-38
27th November Love – Luke 2 v 1-7
4th December Joy – Luke 2 v 8-20
11th December Peace – Luke 2 v 25-33
