DUNBLANE AREA COUNCIL QUIET DAY

The Dunblane Area Council met at St James’s today for a Labyrinth Quiet Day led by Revd Elaine Ryder. The day began with worship in the church and an introduction to labyrinths by Revd Christoph Wutscher, then small groups walked the outdoor labyrinth and enjoyed the church gardens. We moved to indoor activities, before the rain came, creating finger labyrinths with symbols personal to each person and using the St Cuthbert’s Cross Labyrinth in a guided mediation through different aspects of our lives. There was time to be quiet and time to share our thoughts and we brought the day to a conclusion with worship in the church. Many thanks to all those who helped in different ways to create a special day.
