Karin Grünewald has told us of the recent death of her husband Gottfried.
Many will remember Gottfried, who was a well-loved Rector at St James from 1998 to 2005. Both Gottfried and Karin made a big contribution to our worship and church life in the years they lived amongst us. On Gottfried’s retirement in 2005 the couple returned to Denmark, where they have lived ever since. Please remember Gottfried and Karin in your prayers.
We will take time at the end of the All Soul’s service which will be on Sunday 2nd November at 4.00 pm to remember and give thanks for Gottfried’s life, and for the valuable contribution he and Karin made to St James.
