Burns Supper – January 25th 2020

We held a most enjoyable Burns Supper on Saturday evening with all the usual speeches.. Alun gave a spirited rendition of The Ode to a Haggis. After the meal we joined in some Burns songs accompanied by the multi talented Tim who in the course of the evening played the Highland bagpipes, the Lowland/Border pipes, piano accordion and guitar.

Feast of St. James

We celebrated St. James’s Day (July 25th) this Sunday. During the service we hung shells, the symbol of St. James, on our prayer tree and afterwards held a Bring and Share lunch in the Parish Rooms which was much enjoyed.
